Before Olive Oil was used as a food product the Mediterranean population used it for cleansing the body. Olive Oil makes a wonderful make-up remover as well as whole body cleansing lotion that cleans away all traces of make-up and dirt, leaving the skin soft and smooth. Yield 6 ounces.

1 tsp liquid soap

2 Tbsp water 2 Tbsp Glycerin (you can find this at any drug store)

½ cup Olive Oil

Mix all ingredients together in a blender or by hand until smooth and creamy. Put into a clean jar with a tight fitting lid. To use: Put a small amount in the palm of your hand and massage into your skin. Rinse well with tepid water and pat dry.
